The Save the Internet Act faces its next big vote tomorrow, this time in the full House Energy and Commerce Committee. And once again, Big Cable lobbyists are scheming to gut the bill. Several Democrats on the committee who received huge donations from Big Cable haven’t yet come out in support of the bill, and are considering supporting weakening amendments that would create giant loopholes for ISPs to violate net neutrality.1 If we can’t pass the bill without weakening amendments tomorrow, we will lose our best shot at restoring net neutrality.
